SunLine: Rides Reimagined
The Coachella Valley Is Growing.
We want to grow with it.
SunLine is reimagining its transit system, and we need your voice to help shape what comes next.
Update
Phase 2 is Here!
From May 4 through June 28, we’re sharing two conceptual network designs shaped by what we heard in Phase 1 – not final maps, but concepts to help guide the next steps.
One design prioritizes Ridership: more frequent service on routes where many people live and work. The other prioritizes Coverage: using multiple modes of transit to reach more of the Valley, even if buses come less often. Scroll down to explore both and tell us which direction feels right for you and the community.
Watch this 2-minute video for a quick overview of the project and how to get involved in Phase 2.
Thank You for Helping Shape Phase 1
1,930 people participated in the Phase 1 survey, and your input showed us something important: the Valley is truly split. Some residents lean toward a ridership‑focused system, while others strongly value broader coverage. These competing priorities are exactly what Phase 2 is designed to clarify.
We Need Your Feedback
Explore the Network Designs
We've mapped out the Ridership and Coverage network designs so you can see what each could look like on the ground — where routes run, how often buses come, and what areas are served. Take a look and tell us what does and does not work for you.
