SunLine Transit Agency

 

TO:     Prospective Bidders

RE:     Request for Quotations (RFQ) 22-038– Fire, Elevator and Burglar Monitoring

SunLine Transit Agency is requesting written quotations to engage a vendor to perform the tasks as described in the Request for Quotations (RFQ). Written quotations are requested which will be firm and irrevocable until such time as SunLine has signed a contract with the successful Bidder. The quotation of the successful Bidder will be binding upon SunLine’s acceptance of that quotation. The quotation should include price, delivery date, and all information needed to understand and evaluate the quotation, as well as any exception from SunLine specifications. Copies of SunLine’s specifications for this work and standard terms & conditions are included with this packet and will become part of any purchase order/contract resulting from this solicitation.

A site walk will be held for this project on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 9:00am at SunLine Transit Agency’s Thousand Palms location at 32-505 Harry Oliver Trail, Thousand Palms, CA 92276, then moving to our Indio facilities at 83-255 Hwy 111, Indio, CA 92201 and finally moving to our Coachella location at 790 Vine St., Coachella, CA 92236. Attendance by any prospective Bidders at the pre-bid conference and ALL THREE sites is strongly suggested. The pre-bid conference and site visit may be the only opportunity Bidders will have to examine the location and discuss the scope with SunLine staff.

Written quotations for “Fire, Elevator and Burglar Monitoring” will be received until 4:00pm Pacific Standard Time, December 21, 2021 at SunLine Transit Agency, 32-505 Harry Oliver Trail, Thousand Palms, CA. 92276 or electronically at agunderloy@sunline.org. Physical or electronically sent quotations received after that time will not be considered.

The agreement to be entered into pursuant to this RFQ may be subject to a financial assistance contract between SunLine Transit Agency and the United States Department of Transportation. If this project is subject to Federal financial assistance, and for any reason the Federal financial assistance is withdrawn, then and in such event SunLine Transit Agency may withdraw this RFQ and/or terminate any agreement entered into in accordance with these contract documents and specifications.

Copies of the Request for Quotations and any addenda may be picked up by appointment at SunLine Transit Agency at the address above, downloaded at www.sunline.org, or requested by e-mail at the address below. SunLine Transit Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in the quotation process.

Where proposals are sent by mail, delivery service or delivered in-person to the SunLine Transit Agency Procurement Office, the proposors shall be responsible for the delivery to SunLine before the advertised date and hour for the opening of the proposals. Proposors should follow the instructions for submittal in the bidding documents. To pick up proposals or any questions about downloading proposals, please call SunLine at 760-343-3456.
